ABOUT THE AUTHOR

I am a graduate student at Hofstra University pursuing my master's in journalism. I began my academic career at Hofstra, studying journalism with a concentration in sports media. I served as a member of Hofstra University's WRHU in its sports department. I have assisted in the production of New York Islanders and Long Island Nets broadcasts and provided play-by-play, color and sideline work for Hofstra Pride Athletics and the Long Island Ducks. I have also interned with the Long Island Press, The Hockey News and AMNewYork.
